Back From Hiatus, and It’s Bad
Well, I’ve just got down to the normal routine today, and what do I hear?
India bundled out for 196!
That, after the phenomenal Day 1 performance. This just doesn’t go down my throat.
It’s going to be hard for them to pull themselves out after stepping into this dungeon.
Let’s just hope tables are turned on Day 3.

Well Dinnie, I too was hoping for a competitive game after Day 1, is there anyone that is going to challenge the Aussies?
Cricket is becoming a bit boring watching the Aussie win all the time.

Hey cheer up folks. Australia were bundled out, too. India need 493 to win. Achievable, but they’ll have to stick to the wicket.

hats off to you dinnie to say 493 is achievable to the team who could not even muster courage to stand even for full day…and cold not reach even 200!!!

I am hoping India pull off a win but seems highly unlikely at this stage. But the Indians need to put up a fight to ensure they go into the 2nd Test with some confidence. Sydney (along with Adelaide) will be India’s best bet to win tests in Australia anyway.
Its a shame though that the Indian bowlers performed so admirably but their batsmen didn’t back them up in 1st innings. Hmm, fielders weren’t spectacular either.

Congratulations Australia.
Played as well as India did not.
Batting out sessions wasn’t impossible as it was made out to be by Indian bats. The scary thing is Sachin is reported to have said India will continue with their experiments and perhaps continue to play this way, by inference.

Well.
If they had managed to take this to Day 5, that would have been some consolation.
I’ve not felt hungry the whole day. Now I wonder if this had to do with the cricket?
