Cricket is best - official
Brainiac - Science Abuse, popular tongue-in-cheek science show hosted by Top Gear’s Richard Hammond on Sky One officially declared that Cricket is the best bat sport. In a completely unscientific study (as is the norm with the show), they compared three sports: cricket, tennis and golf. The test was simple: each bat would be used to hit a cricket ball, a tennis ball and a golf ball. The bat that scored the furthest collective distance would be crowned the winner. And whilst each sport-specific bat was able to hit its own sports ball the furthest, it was the cricket bat that was best at hitting the other sports ball, and produced an overall victory.
You can argue with the science; you can’t, however, argue with the outcome!
