In response to the very serious problem of good light stopping play, Derbyshire have asked the ECB to help resolve the problem.

“It seems a simple solution to a potential problem. As long as the boundaries are the same and the opposition are in agreement we can’t see a problem with it,” chief executive Tom Sears said.

There certainly are some bright sparks* down there at Derby.
