I forget the poll…
Eat Cricket, Drink Cricket, Sleep Cricket
For a lack of anything interesting to say today, I’ll present to you the results of a frivolous poll that had been running all this while.
We asked: Who seriously needs to drop pounds around their butt?
38 % of you voted, rightfully, for Ramesh Powar. He was seen doing tai chi some days back, so we hope he’ll improve.
21% complained of Symonds. Not much cellulite there, IMO, but he is helpless. With his height and build, you can’t not be bulky. Anyway, we’d suggest he try yogalates, which should also help him with some peace of mind, which I assume he desperately needs these days.
Murali and Dwayne Leverock shared 17 % votes each. Well, Dwayne, you better put your act together or I’ll cancel our date.
8% votes went to “others”.
Next poll goes up soon. Now I’ll go and deal with a guest, Mr. Common Cold. And think of some way of kicking him out.

Hot water and brandy - for your cold. :)
As they say eat your cold, trying having a hot chicken broth.

Brandy. Not into that league yet.
Hot water. Yuck.
I’ll go for the chicken broth.
(I swear I’ll never have coke in winters!)

Actually, it is the refrigeration which has caused the throat infection. The drink has nothing to do with your cold.

Right, right, but what’s a “unrefrigerated” coke? heh.
Actually, the weather had kinda warmed down, so I thought it won’t do any harm. Silly, very silly.
My cousin often jokes:
Teachers’ kids never study and doctors’ kids are always ill.

I second the brandy…till a couple of decades ago, that used to be part of grandma’s recipes for the common ailments worldwide…

Well, Freddy Truman thought that you couldn’t be a fast bowler without a big bottom. I think that may true of many disciplines in cricket.

FWIW, I’ve recovered.
Athiest: Big bellies don’t help in fielding, though. :)
Oh, and I gotta wish Rahul Happy Bday!
