It’s Sunday and I can’t fake it.
Okay, I know I have been faking all this while that I have practically no interest in the Future Cup, and I have intentionally refrained from babbling about it (until it became absolutely necessary).
BUT
No school. Sunday. Autumn break. Id (= no power cuts). Well, ohkay. I give up. I’ll go and watch some cricket!

The Indian run chase last night was a little disappointing - after such a good start it is a shame that they didn’t finish it off to leave some interest in the final match.
Regardless of that, in Australia, we are now just heading back into full swing cricket season. I love this time of year!

It is humiliating to realize how easily they could have won the match — and probably drawn the series.
And people are talking about “getting rid” of the seniors. What are we going to do without Sachin, Saurav, and Dravid?
And this time of year is my favorite, too. Not because of the cricket, but because of the spate of diverse fests lined-up: Id (gone), Dussehra, Diwali, Christmas. Talk about being multi-culturism!
