Kumble and Dravid: Good Times for Good Friends
eat Cricket, drink Cricket, sleep Cricket
That Anil Kumble would join the league of Warne and Murali, nobody had the slightest hint of five years back. But this chap has really grown on us all– not only with his performance but also his integrity and character.
Not to overlook Rahul Dravid, who with 165 catches is now the third highest catcher in the Test history.
Isn’t it interesting that two best friends have achieved two great feats of their career with the same catch?
Here’s a look.

It’s excellent to see, it really is.
He’s a great guy. I sometimes wonder if he actually knows how good he is. Even the commentators are surprised at his celebration outburst because he usually strikes as quite a reserved person.
It is interesting that they both achieved something with the catch, though it does seem that Kumble’s slightly overlooks Dravid’s.
How many more does he need to become the highest catcher?

Dravid is now only behind Fleming (166) and Mark Waugh (181). Should take one year at the least.
