Lee is in the Air
And I mean it.
Some may not be ready to hail Brett Lee as Australia’s new “spearhead” yet, but he’s cut through the Sri Lankan innings like a torpedo, ripping apart 4 wickets, putting SL on the backfoot compl
etely.
Off the field, he’s signed a deal to compose the World Cup 2011 theme song. Don’t forget: he’s the leading guitarist for Six and Out, a music band run by him and his cricketing friends from New South Wales. His duet with Asha Bhonsle hit the second spot on the Indian music charts last year.
He also believes that, with his kind of external features, he could easily get roles in Bollywood (think the British types in Lagaan). So, he’s actually counting on that as a career option after retirement from cricket.
He’s a lucky chap, Liz Kemp and all. What a life.
Oh, and I don’t have a problem with his singing the theme song — as long as it’s not in Hindi!

Uncle J,
I second that.
His singing can be made use to cull the (brumbies?) horses in the boondocks.

the only six and out song song ive heard is “cant bowl, cant throw” , about 30 unclear seconds of it, streamed from their website, this, ofcourse was 4 years ago; i’ve looked recently and now , somehow, the website (sixandout.com.au) seems to have vanished.
uhm what’s this i hear abt you (Uncle J Rod
)having the songs..could you then, be so kind as to email them to me as well..??
yeh, i second that , if he’s gonna sing/create/produce another song, we’d like it only in english please..the other one was a disaster…im surprised he didnt spontaneously combust out of embarrasment…

Yeah, their official site is down at the moment, and all the traffic is diverted here. ;)
He’s something of a sex symbol here in India, but friends back in Oz tell me he’s only talked about for his cricket over there.
