Mendis magic defeats India in Asia Cup Final
I thought India were a little better prepared this time. I thought India had the edge. I was so wrong. The chokers tag remains, for now.

Mendis is definitely an intelligent player. I think he is not a spinner; rather he is better called a cutter who just cuts the ball with tip of the finger. His best strength is that he can cut the ball either way with apparently same grip- which is enough to deceive the batsmen. I think, he has the ability to hold the place of Muralitharan in both forms of cricket.

India’s top scorer batsmen failed to read spin sensation Ajantha Mendis. That is why, they had to loss the Test series 2-1. No one top order except opening pair could beat this new comer bowler.
