Public Plea to Brett Lee
Lots of bat-and-ball action coming up. I can’t stop you (or me) from watching, but don’t be a loser. Don’t waste all your time to TV - eyes balls protruding out of the sockets and tongue sticking out- marveling at Clarke’s strokes (or hair, if you are female).
In the meanwhile, if you are bored, and I mean really cheesed off, consider watching Brett Lee’s duet with Asha Bhosle, You are the one for me.
To Mr. Lee: Puh-leeze, don’t try to utter Hindi song lyrics ever again!

Thats very unfair of you to be picking on his hindi. Especially since his english singing is just as bad if not worse.
But i thought you’d like brett lee, since you named your blog after his first band, Six and out.
I’m on of 2 people to own their cd, and at 3 dollars i overpayed by about 4 dollars for it.

SixandOut wasn’t my idea. I would have gone for something more traditional, something that had the word cricket in it.
I have always liked Brett Lee. In school, I was kind of famous for my craziness about him, but his stint at Hindi freaked me out completely. If you spoke Hindi, you would understand that. :-)
Thanks, Chryselle. :-D

so you object to Brett lee trying to speak Hindi? Why, have you taken out copyright on it? but I feel the same way about Indians trying to speak English, especially when they ring me at dinnertime from Mumbai trying to sell me a mobile phone.
Brett should have stuck to his white colonial roots and sung in RP (that’s Received Pronunciation - wot the Queen speaks)
Like the title but had you thought of putting the ads on the left? I feel kind of cramped..

Hi there Caro,
I have no problems with Brett Lee trying to speak Hindi, but his distorted pronunciation totally freaked me out. I guess the directors are to be blamed. They didn’t polish him. I can teach you Hindi, Brett, if you like.
I, too, dislike unsolicited phone calls. So I understand how you feel.
Kiran Desai won the Booker last year. I am not worried about our English. We’ll do just fine.
I sent your complaint re: ads to the Sports Channel Editor.
