I agree regarding pro40 it seems to have entered the language of cricket commentators and no one has bothered to say why or explain - it seems to be a marketing guru’s idea of the way cricket should be - all jazz and pizzazz. Will the game improve or will it be a fad amongst folks as long as England can beat the Aussies down under and pull victories out of the fire like against Pakistan. My only concerne is that when people become more literate about the game the standard may seem to be slipping and the great victories maybe exposed due to poor technique and craft being displayed by all sides these days. I was shocked to see Pakistan literally give away the last test.
